About this cymbal:

I hand selected this at the Bosphorus vault in Atlanta, 1999. This is a beautifully hand-hammered and extremely thin flat ride at 1561 grams and a nice size at 19". Cymbal sounds particularly glassy and beautiful when played with brushes but also has a nice sizzly stick response. Although it is a flatride it has an arched profile which gives it a a Turkish sound and feel. I think this would sound great with rivets but I never drilled it. My favorite application with this cymbal was with brushes on a quiet gig, a real joy to play and listen to. This is a great jazz cymbal. These older Bosphorus cymbals tend to be better than the newer ones, this cymbal is no exception.
