  • I have the exact same machine came across your video while searching for parts. It functions fine but has become so loud that you can't stand in the laundry room and talk to anyway without actually yelling at the top of your lungs. I like front loaders, grew up with them and they lasted forever. Got a top loader Kenmore when we got married it lasted 15 years this one hasn't made it 6.

  • @Kimbo010101 the reason it smelt of piss was because, although most machines forget it, your supposed to run a hot wash to get rid of the factory smell. if you want a decent washer, as im from england, all i know about american front loaders is if you dont get an electrolux, bosch or miele or something of that nature, youll have endless trouble.

if you get a toploader your likely to have a good reliable washer, but the only thing is they dont wash well at all compared.

  • @ilovemiele1 It was a kenmore front loader with samsung engine!! After going through the hassle of trying to get this washer fixed three times and writing and speaking to numerous individuals and almost needing the BBB to help finally get the washer replaced!!! There is also a urine type odor on the clothes after the first wash!! Better with the replacement but had a top loader for 20 years. This situation would leave a sour note for many consumers!!

  • @Kimbo010101 just because its a front load doesnt mean its bad. all these american top loaders waste water and dont wash as well. can you tell me, what make was your front loader?

  • Not impressed with front load washers!!! Shocks and something else wrong and not even a year old!!! What a joke!!! Do not buy a front loader they are terrible!!!

  • mine did the same thing...changed the springs that suspend the drum..and the shock absorbers on both sides of the drum..my problem was gone...these were common items that wear out

  • Damn. As you can see in one of my video, my one doing the same, but MUCH louder sounds... Damn, i deattached everything, cleaned it, checked the suspension, motor and wires, everything is OK, but it still making these sounds. It seems there is problem with a floor, it stands on NOT completely FLAT surface...

  • Zanussi and Electrolux front load washers, sold in UK, are the same product. In the UK you can buy the replacement spider and rear basket bearings. U-tube shows repairs. On e-bay you can seach and find the part (use worldwide search for zanussi washer spider). Also you can purchase the two rear tub bearings on e-bay: 6306-2RS and 6307-2RS

  • Spider has disintegrated due to hard water? This happened to me on my 417 unit.

  • Yor front drum bearing is gone. Look at my Youtube post. Same noise. Fix it yourself for $50.00 or a mechanic friend if you have one.Not too bad a job. A repair service wil charge you at least 4 hrs labor and $300-500 in parts. Not worth it.
