G8800GTS Is a gaming card.
You need a Quadro FX or a FireGL to view 3D properly. The only reason to invest in those cards though, is if you work in 3D graphics.

your too lucky man, even i had google earth 5 still no 3D buildings for me!

yeah, I use nVidia G8800GTS 512. So you obiously can't avoid the lag by buying more expensive card.

Well, I'v got 4GB of Kingston HyperX 1066Mhz DDR2 in DualChannel mode. That means (1066Mhz(frequency)x128bit(busbandwidth)):8(bits to bytes)=17GB/s I also got 1600MHz frontsidebus and 6MB L2 memory on my 3,6GHz Dualcore intel processor. So I think I'v got memory bandwidth covered quite well.

I got some new textures and trying to solve some problems with the encoder but new episodes will be coming out in just a few days
