@Snowburden yeah i feel the same, there is no one to talk to music about with in america. most the people i know dont know there is different music besides rock, pop, hip hop and rap.

@Snowburden Probably because the music you listen to (metal) isn't too populair in America. Also I've noticed that a lot of metal bands come from Europe. A lot from Finland and Sweden and I didn't even knew this a minute ago, but Delain and Within Temptation come from my home country (the Neterlands). And my favourite band, Lacuna Coil, is from Italy. Europe just rules with Metal.

A while back I was talking to a foreigner from Europe about music, and we started talking about Symphonic Metal, and she knew exactly what I was talking about and knew the bands I was suggesting.
