This is a performance of a spiritual called "Steal Away," which was originally composed by Wallace Willis. This version was arranged by the Director of the Cornell University Glee Club, Professor Scott Tucker. The Cornell Glee Club spent the two weeks prior to this concert traveling by bus and singing in the South, visiting Cleveland, Nashville, Memphis, Dallas, Austin, Houston, New Orleans and Atlanta after starting and ending in Ithaca, NY. The performance took place in Sage Chapel on the Cornell University Campus, and the conductor is Assistant Conductor John Rowehl. The soloists were Tyler Coatney '09, Scott Tucker (singing in place of an ill Ben Rosenfield '09), Eric Horn '12, and Dan Cloutier '11.
