  • Can anyone please help identify which species swims past at 0:16? Is it a hybrid?

  • @Rainbowgups Yes the are hybrid and they are all over the world. I had them for Glossolepis multisquamata but they war so young. After that was to late. I still have that boy. He is 6 years old now and still in good health and about 15 cm. Of course I don't breed them.

    Thank you for asking.

    Cheers!

  • @tsetsoignatov Thank you for your reply. I have these in my tank and now that I'm sure they're hybrids I will definitely not breed them. Cheerios.

  • Any time.

  • Those fish are soo awesome. I killed three of them...Great looking, How do they do with other species of Rainbows? Mine seemed kinda timid...who knows

  • Timid? I don't think so. They are ok with my other spesies.

  • Nice looking fish! I'am a fish mom and love it:)

  • @adamonthetube Water quality could have been an issue. I really love that species but I killed mine, I believe it was some kind of parasite I didn't catch. Their color combos are so great. When you breed them what do you have them breed on? what's your KH, diet ect. I have a 75 gallon I am going to try to breed these odd ball rainbows in....

  • @Dustinsfishtanks They might have appeared timid due to poor water quality maybe. They are usually very active and a wonderful community fish with other rainbows. I have seen them kept with a lot of different rainbows. Mine are all in single species tanks for breeding purposes but I would not hesitate to put them in with other rainbows. cheers

  • I went to your site, you have some amazing species... Any suggestions on where to buy good rainbows? Your fish are great.
