#108 - Executive Salary Cap Drains Brains - Why Not Just Nationalize Already?

Looks like both Obama and Pelosi have 500 on the brain - she says 500 million Americans will lose their jobs every month without the stimulus bill - is she talking about future jobs loss as well - and Obama caps exec salaries at $500k - well I guess we don't really need the best and the brightest running these companies - since all he really wants is to run them into the ground. Why not just go ahead and nationalize already geez - you are flirting with it - why not just go all the way?

Thinkfuture, ur missing the point. The salary cap only applies to companies that are begging for bailout money. If they're doing well and not needing anything from gov, then they can do whatever they want with the compensation.

So do u think it's the right thing to use YOUR tax money to help these companies only to end up being inside CEOs pockets for luxurious lifestyle? Not to mention they can't even run their companies to survive.

No I don't think its the right thing to use our tax money for anything like this. If a company is managed badly - it should die. This is why I'm saying we should cap it even lower - why not $100k? That way 99% of the companies wont take the stimulus cash and figure out how to get out of this on their. I'm sick and tired of using my money to bail out these people, period.

Well, she said 500,000 workers would lose their jobs, as if that was some sort of big number, but in reality, 600,000 lost their jobs! the democrats WANT us to think that the number of people who lost their jobs that month was 16% lower than it actually was, thats because they want to distort reality or something, I dunno but this sounds like something an internet conspiracy theorist would make a big deal of.
