Goodnight Gracie!

I really have to respect George for how he had and displayed that strong committed love for Gracie up until his own demise.

George Burns: The epitome of class.

How could two people not like this? What is wrong with you two????

Class is Class, no matter how old it is. This was from the days when comedy made you laugh. Now people laugh out of sympathy for the comedian.

@Bopalena oh, all of his books were good :)

George Burns (not his real name) was nabbed trying to smuggle jewels into Israel.

We watched this great couple on a twelve inch Motarola television, then a 27" Zenith. Gracie is an angel because only an angel does what she did and that is simply she brought joy and laughter to the world in a non-stop fashion. Remember, they started out with the idea of Gracie being the straight person in the act. That changed in a matter of seconds when she spoke!! You two are loved forever. Thank you both.

When our children were little, we taught them to say goodnight...say goodnight Gracie! And then, we taught our grandkids. Burns and Allen, not to be forgotten
Funny is funny no matter what. George Burns and Jack Benny worked "clean" and they were great. Richard Pryor, George Carlin and Lenny Bruce worked "dirty" and they were great too. Dice Clay works "dirty" and he sucks, so it's not clean or dirty that makes it funny, but material and talent. I suggest you read George's great book "All My Best Friends". Amazing book by a guy who saw it all! You can get it on Amazon for next to nithing and it's a great read.

George Burns, Bob Hope, Groucho Marx, just to name a few. Now look at the so-called comedians we have today. They can't get three sentences into a set without bellowing out sh*t, f*ck or a**.
