Since 2004, the Nürburgring is also in the Le Mans Series schedule, with the sports prototypes and standard sports cars to start in four classes. This race is again held annually. The Le Mans Series is based on the regulations of 24 hours of Le Mans. The season includes five championship rounds on Traditionsrennstrecken in Europe. The approximately 50 cars on the classic 1,000-kilometer distance, which are depending on the route in five to six hours in use, offer fascinating motorsport. Speed, reliability and low fuel consumption are the motto here.
