Fuel Cells power cars, buses, hotels, schools, hospitals, supermarkets, factories, and stores by combining hydrogen with air to create an electrochemical reaction that produces electricity and thermal energy. They do this much more efficiently than a local power company. Fuel cells main by-products are water and heat, and when using hydrogen from a renewable resource, have no polluting emissions. A world of opportunity is waiting for students interested in science and engineering in the fuel cell industry.
