Revolutionary Girl Utena - Miki and the Rose Bride

"If it cannot break out of its shell, the chick will die without being born. We are the chick; the world is our egg. If we don't crack the world's shell, we will die without being born. Smash the world's shell! For the Revolution of the world!"

These are two scenes from episode five of Revolutionary Girl Utena, "The Sunlit Garden". The Student council convenes to discuss a new letter from End of the World. Miki(blue hair) refuses to duel for control of Anthy Himemiya(purple hair), the Rose Bride, but subtle manipulation from Student Council President Touga(red hair) brings him to become fearful to lose the traits which he loves in her.
