Turn of that crappy music next time so we can hear the engine...
-
is the turbo supposed to go into the red? if so, why does mine just go to the red?
-
@andy28277 You should be careful when you say, "engine driven." Technically a super charger is engine driven as it runs off a belt (or chain) off the engine where a turbo is technically "exhaust driven" because it uses the exhaust gasses from the engine to spin the turbine to force air through.

for a stock motor, stock turbo. naaasty fast

@SHEGOTADONKKK - I have a 2002 Saab 9-5. It is my fourth Saab and the most satisfying. Super reliable and cheaper to repair than a BMW or Mercedes.

Go to saabcentral d-ot c-om and ask your question. If you do the PCV update and ALL regular maintanence you should be fine, and it is an easy DIY car with inexpensive parts on the internet. stay away from stealerships for repairs. Get a good Saab indie or DIY.
