@deltingfc The reason they kept Goku's voice like it was in Dragonball was they wanted him to appear innocent and childlike. Idk about Bardock though...

Masako Nozawa is one of the most talented seiyuu's ever. She has a unique voice, and has a lot of passion and emotion in all of her roles. Sonny Straight just falls short in comparison. Sure he has the right voice, but his acting just comes off goofy and forced which really takes a lot of the weight scenes like this had.
