to be wearing as they fight opponents that arent even ranked but find a way to manipulate the system as they have dodgy promoters/coaches.Also when statistics are brought up over deaths in boxing, all of them are from professional boxing bouts, so i think the public in general should be educated in the differences between professional and amatuer boxing. Jeff Fenech needs needs to get a life and stop living in the past as he is a has been and needs to go do some dishes himself, the sexist pig

main reason people are against female boxing is due to the females boxing in the pro ranks who have harldy any skill as you can see by sharon anyos's face in this video. also the major mismatches that are occuring in the female pros by bringing over females from Thailand that have never had any boxing fights and are brought over here to fight for a bowl of rice. Also NSW have some good young female amatuer boxers but get no exposure cos you have people like Arthur Tunstall controlling
Boxing in NSW and is against women boxing, but im sure when he moves on it will be sanctioned in NSW. We need more females to take up the sport and box in the amatuers to show the public how skillfull our female boxers are and how different it is to professional boxing. Our country has more successfull and skillfull females boxing in the amatuers than in the pros but unlike the pro girls they get no exposure, probably due to the fact their not posing semi naked with belts they dont even deserve.

Thanks for your comments I agree that amateur boxing is pretty safe in comaprison, I have seen first hand however the damage resulting in slurred speech that happens when boxers start too young. I am all for women's boxing but am for raising the age for full contact competitive boxing to 16 or 18 years and have modified rules like points fighting similar to karate for younger competitive fighters. thanks again joe
