    Hi, how can the drummer change the timbre of each drum??? is it through locations on the drum, intenstity or it has some sort of pedal.

    It depends on the type of drum. Some taiko are rope tightened and can be re-tied to adjust tension. You can see that on the small shime-daiko drums at 0:45. The larger drums shown here have the skins tacked on with "byo", and are not tension-adjustable.

    Depends on what you're looking for. Professional groups like Tao and Kodo produce high-quality DVDs. If you're looking for training materials, some groups like Tamashii NZ can provide full teaching modules for schools - but taiko is best learned from a sensei or as part of a performing group.

    Beleive me when I say that your speakers CAN NOT do this performace justice

    Seeing the show in person is the only way to really feel the intensity of Japanese Taiko drum performance
