Beleive me when I say that your speakers CAN NOT do this performace justice
Seeing the show in person is the only way to really feel the intensity of Japanese Taiko drum performance

@Mundicantus So true! Just saw one again today - it really is incredible in person! A few years back I did a one day workshop and it was really a lot of fun to bang on drums for a few hours! It can get really intense, especially when everyone is moving together in unison! :)

I love this performance because of the amazing fast-paced "songs" that they perform. I can't find any other video that has anything like it.

@LionEntity Depends on what you're looking for. Professional groups like Tao and Kodo produce high-quality DVDs. If you're looking for training materials, some groups like Tamashii NZ can provide full teaching modules for schools - but taiko is best learned from a sensei or as part of a performing group.
