No, yuh aint lying at all!! Lol!! Yeeaaa, I'm kinda guilty of being a fresh water yankee. Lol!! But it's a story behind it. So when I was bout 2 or 3 me and my parents went for a month in the US and the accent real got into me, I came back talkin like I now come from Queens and apparently the accent never went, I can take it out and put it away easily but doh geh meh started cuz I could real buss out in Trini palang! Lol!! And to bounce up da nex Trini we only hadda hear d accent!

@daneos90 Lol some of the American accents are really easy to pick up. But yes, once we meet another Trini the accent comes out in full force :)

girl, i find it so interesting that trini people are like cultural chameleons... we can switch accents like no one else can, and we are highly adaptable too! i noticed i do the same thing when i go to the states, i speak to the americans slowly and clearly, but with other trinis, its back to broken slangs and fast words. :) keep up the vids Dru... u rock!! :)
