@docscot11 These weigh over 10 TONS, no air can get underneath so there is no way it will be picked up and dropped. Ours is anchored 4 feet into the ground also.

Why don't we just build houses like this in the first place? You can easily put windows in and have steel shutters. The window can be set back deep within the wall and then when bad weather comes you simply go push the steel shutter closed and they can snap in place.

The shelter is built with high strength concrete using steel rebar re-inforcing. The seamless walls and roof are four inches thick with 1/2 inch rebar every twelve inches both vertical and horizontally. This unit will not collapse if a large tree or other object falls onto it.
The door swings outward for safety reasons. The hatch cover on the optional escape opening in the back wall can be removed from the inside of the unit if the front door is blocked.

Maybe you should have the door swing inward. If a large heavy object falls in front of the shelter, you will not be able to open the door. However, it is still a great product.
