I happen to have the giant print expositors bible, Iv'e had mine since 2007 and still read it twice daily, I even have nearly all of Jimmy's commentaries as well as some of his newest books.

When one reads the Expounds on Scripture. they are to do it under the guidance of the Spirit of God, and know the full context, culture and comparing it with all other scriptures in the original languish, mindset and culture. NOTE:

We sometimes think English is / was sufficient to translate the word of God into the Bible we have today. Any Bible scholar adept in Biblical Languages & cultures understands that 1 word may take many paragraphs to explain so we 21st centenarians may understand.

Brother you are not correct. For some 35 years I have allowed by God to teach in Bible colleges as a Theology, Greek and Hebrew professor.

From the view you espouse in this video you clearly do not know the Biblical text from the original Greek and Hebrew culture and mindset.

Women, were used many times to preach, convey and expound on the Word of God. i.e. Acts 21:9, " Four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy"

I know this is an older video, but I thought I'd comment. I'm a KJV only guy and I even stay way from "going to the Greek." I just believe in the preservation of God's Word within the ole' KJV. Call me crazy. Anyway, I've been thinking about buying the Expositor's Study Bible because Rev. Swaggart knws the Bible better than 99% of us and does preach it. However, 1Tim2:12 is clear. No woman preachers. Period. I thank you for talking plain truth. I agree with what you've said. God bless you

You can all come to Mr. Swaggart's defense but who will come to yours when you find out the hard way that he has been feeding you lies? Believe what you will but God went through great detail in warning us of what is to come, including false teachers... If you choose to believe a lie... that's on you. Rapture me NOT! If Satan wants to give you an easy way out, to escape the tribulation, pack lightly.

i totally disagree with this! pastor jimmy is a man of God and almost everybody talks bad about him but the devil is a liar yall need to leave this man alone and pray for him like real christians would, i have this bible and it has opened my mind alot to the true meanings of the word of God! God bless bro swaggart and his family and ministry! theres nothing wrong with this bible, and theres something wrong with the critics! "go on pastor jimmy keep on preaching the truth!"
