well said mate, i'm irish and i dont know any irish person gives a fuck about a royal wedding, its only two people getting married, big deal because they got some1 to whipe there ass for them. they splash the news of the wedding all over the t.v to make a bigger deal out of it then what it is, it must help all them royalty's sleep at night. My wife is Irish and her ancestors had to flee Ireland when the Brits created the infamous potato famine which killed thousands. The Brits along with the French have caused the chaos in the Middle East with their policies of the 1920s. Practically every war we've gotten involved in globally is because of something the Brits did directly or indirectly before we got involved. Yes, there is definitely NO love between me and England - nada!

I've been off TV now for a little over five years and now I can't even stand to hear it in the next room. It is nothing but mindless drivel nowadays. I can remember when there were actually some good shows on but now its filled with "reality" shows and other worthless garbage. The news broadcasts are a joke and the "royal" wedding is just another way for them to blow smoke up our asses while they're picking out pockets.

@MAG315 I admire your discipline regarding the boob tube. We have satellite Dish so we don't watch regular stuff - just movies and documentaries. Also, they have 2 very good music channels which show various musicians from whom I can pick up tips and help with my guitar playing.

We were subjected to a load of shit when you had your elections for the man of the future, we had to watch days of it on TV like that is important, to who not any one out side of the US.

I must admit it was funny to watch how for hundreds of years you oppressed the black people and now finally they have control of your country, but i suppose that has been coming for a long time since they dominate just about every sport you have in the country.
