But seriously, a RINO in American politics is a registered Republican politician that doesn't stand for Republican positions 100% of the time or vote with the Republican positions 100% of the time. Now republicans, as far as Christian Evangelicals are concerned, not only believe in smaller government, but are also anti-gay, anti-abortion, and are pro war in the Middle East (because it kills Muslims) and want the Christian religion to be the law (well the parts of the bible they like).
