what size is this track ?? it looks to short for the 1/4th mile and to long for th 1/8th ?? i dont know whats going on,,mybe its the camera ??

@ZDoomCentral you have to take in to play that the crown vic's come in at 5'000lbs,,my grand marquis pays big time for how hevy she is,,,

@ZDoomCentral I agree. The Roush did terrible, but it is running much better times now lol. The Vic is a sleeper. That's just about the perfect word to describe it. Even more so this next year. ;-) I was hoping to run with Dan NA in my Lincoln, but now the rotten fucker is putting a blower on it. :-P

Oh dont get me wrong that vic is badass, was just saying that roush was slow as all hell in that race. 13.77 is very close to stock GT times for that model year, infact a GT with CAI and tune for that year runs about a 13.7-13.5 so if it is supercharged its down on power somewhere. But I will say I LOVE the idea of a souped up vic, the perfect sleeper :D

@ZDoomCentral And by the way, Dan's Vic has Stage 2 cams with lots of bolt-ons. It is not a mildly modified Crown Vic that you have seen here. He has longtube headers, full exhaust, cams, 4.10 gears, JMOD, Accufab plenum, a cold-air intake modified into a ram air setup, and a rebuilt PI engine with 30k miles,etc. Watch Dan run mid 12s this year ALL DAY LONG. :-) I had a whole new respect for these cars when I rode in Dans. On a silly 75 shot it will spin into 3rd on street tires. ;-)

@ZDoomCentral LOL Like Dan said, he has done mods since this run, and YES it was supercharged as anyone with any automotive knowledge can clearly hear in the video. One of the things the guy in the Roush did was change his pulley so he can run more boost. I was at the track with Dan the last time and the Roush was running better times. But, like Dan said, he's putting a Vortech on the Crown Vic this year with 315 tires and drags in the back so I can guarantee the Roush is going to lose again.

I talked to the guy after the race and looked under his hood its got a roush charger roots blower, and yes it was slow for a supercharged roush but hes done some mods lately and was back at the track this year running high 12's. Matter of fact last time he was at the track he was running 12.9s 12.8's i ran a 12.7 in my car with a 75 shot of juice so i can still beat him. Doesnt really matter anyways because im installing a vortech on my vic this year.
