  • I'm an 18 year old composer. I hope I can get something even remotely this good by the end of the year : )

I did this with the World Youth Symphony Orchestra this summer... and honestly, its one of the most fantastic pieces of music i've ever been a part of. Fantastic and very mature work for an 18 year old boy.

  • @ThobyThomas Didn't write a symphony, but a pretty good piano trio. It was played on National Radio here in Canada. If you'll permit me to self promote, you can listen to a recording, and several others on my website, jglasermusic . com

Cheers and thanks everyone for your support!

  • @JosephGlaser one year has gone now, how did it go?

  • @JosephGlaser Aim beyond it, and You will get it.

I'm a 13-year old composer, and I do to! I'm working on my first symphony now.

  • @JosephGlaser I'm a 19 year old composer and i hope the same as you do! ...greetings from Venezuela, btw

  • Amazingly mature for an 18 year old. So sad that the Soviet political machine stifled much of his music. 2nd and 3rd symphonies were hack pieces. But, the 4th, which they suppressed is a masterpiece. Give it a listen.

  • @JosephGlaser don't put any pressure on yourself. Be happy with what you write and that it inspires you, and make sure its the best you can produce. Whether that happens tomorrow or in 20 years, doesn't matter.

  • @JosephGlaser Same here :)
