GBH says that at that time in history the leaders of the church interpreted the doctrine in this way,...ok so is he saying that 50 years from now the leaders of the church then would say that the leaders of the church at this time in history interpreted the doctrine in this way....? GBSH also says that MORmONS stand for something , which is why LDS are respected the way they are! IT all makes sense when its remembered that What MORmONISM really stands for is LYING! Hinckley himself emphatically blustered on Larry king Live that LDS had nothing to do with polygamy, and he had performed a polygamous eternal marriage ceremony just 8 years earlier. In 1850, the LDS Mormon Church went to Hawaii and converted 4,000 Hawaiians. Many of these Hawaiians wanted to come back to Utah, to the new Zion. 30 years later with the "white and delightsome" skin doctrine and the "cursed dark" skin scriptures, from the BOM, the Mormons finally kicked them out Salt Lake City in 1881. These Hawaiians lived 65 miles west of SLC, in the middle of the inhospitable Utah West Desert, known as Iosepa(named for Joseph, Joseph Smith).

Mormons don't trust the Bible as they claim it hasn't been translated correctly... with the BOM having undergone nearly 3900 changes since it's invention, one can say also that it hasn't been translated correctly. When you open the BOM, which part can you trust?

Smith used his seer stone in a hat to ensure integrity of the translation of plates. Using IF and ONY IF, the translation of each symbol was true without exception, one symbol after the next until done. Why the changes to the BOM?

I've been LDS from birth, had a falling away due to laziness, and still will never deny the LDS church's teachings. Why people spend so much time attempting and fighting to deface the name and kind teaching of the church is incomprehensible to me. Much of their opinion is based off of either A) lies B)misinformation or C) something they came up with. I have never come across an informed hater of the LDS church. Those who really know the church, enjoy it. Those who don't, will blame it forever.
