  • Ho! I'll lean on the barricade if I want!!!

  • @SudoJudo1 Yeah but I feel like you can get away with more in NoGi. It is explosive and fast, but Gi is just grind grind grind. Being a skinny mo fo I can slip my way out in no gi, in gi its another story. But, I am no where near JT or Lepri.

  • Dam No Gi is soo much different. More athletetic and explosive. I dont think my knee(snapped cruchit ligament reconstruction) would hold up to it :(

  • @jofiouris thanks

  • @bjjartist ...congratulations on the Faixa Roxa, toughest belt to get, toughest belt to get out of!!

  • @jofiouris nah bud it's cool no need 2 be sorry it's part of me. When I was little I hated it now I feel like I'd be lost w/o it. Yes I'm training left Lloyd Feb 06 for money reasons(medical bills) joined Maguilla BJJ Nov. 08 just got my purple last week.

Thanks for the good wishes same to you.

  • @bjjartist...sorry to hear of your disability. At least your still training, right? All the Best.

  • @jofiouris I don't know maybe I'll ask him someday. I have cerebral palsy and a curved spine that makes doctor's appointments much more frequent than your average guy not to mention I've had multiple surgeries(I'm talking double digits). So I guess he didn't want people to think he's trying to make money off my story. That may have been his reasoning for not picking me. Ryan, JT and Mike just quit college. Though I admit it picking me would've been genius of him. But that's the past.

  • @bjjartist.....and why didn't Lloyd see those qualities in you?

  • @jofiouris You may be correct. But for every diamond he makes or any coach(in any sport) makes by hand there are at least 25 more underground waiting to be discovered. Being a former Lloyd Irvin student, I consider myself one of those undiscovered diamonds. Forgive the poetic language.
