Final Fantasy VIII Sphinxaura Boss Battle

Ahhh, the time to invade Ultimecia's Castle is now! When you enter the castle, your abilities are sealed (GF's, Magic, Draw, etc.), and defeating Ultimacia's servants is how you unlock them. The first servant you'll face to unlock an ability is Sphinxaur. Considering the only ability your party has is attack, thats all the battle consists of. Once you do a certain amount of overall damage, Sphinxaur turns into Sphinxaura. Both are a complete breeze, no problems here.

Just for your viewing pleasure, I changed up the party for most battles. Enjoy!

Yup, level 100 on every character! I used to level up completely on Disc 3 before going to Lunatic Pandora, but then having Gilgamesh is pointless, so level up on Disc 4 so he can actually get used.
