Minister Anura Yapa says a positive world is being created-02.07.2009- ITN News Sri Lanka

Minister Anura Priyadharshana Yapa has said that the All Party Committee which met today laid the foundation, to steer Sri Lanka towards the path of development after rescuing it from terrorism..
The Minister said at a news briefing, a new world that is looking at a positive future is being created. The Minister said that the aim of the committee is to obtain the views of all political parties and to create amity and co-operation amongst communities while launching a development process. The first phase of the meeting was successfully concluded. Everybody agreed that the past should be forgotten and new hopes should be entertained for the future. The UNP also extended its support for peace and unity. TNA Parliamentarians participated under the leadership of Parliamentarian Sri Kantha. He also said that the past should be discarded and the region should be reconstructed. The government will take action to expedite the Northern Spring and Eastern Resurgence programmes.
