Please inform me how a bottle on the ground produces Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs)? You are mistaken the main purpose of recycling. It is to produce a cleaner world--ie less junk laying around. And to cut back on the usage of limited natural resources.Also a funny statistic shows that when advertising recycling it actually motivates people to want to recycle more, meaning they go out and buy things they DONT need just to recycle them. So in turn not actually helping anything. Kinda ironic.

@Sunday1290, you clearly do NOT remember correctly. Failure to recycle leads to pollution. Recyclable materials left in the environment do not decompose. This would be considered pollution. Thus, recycling DOES have to do with global warming. Thank you for your concern though! Stay Green!

You all do know the Earth is actually cooling right? we are in a deep solar minimum and just yesterday alone the US set over 250 records for cold and snowfall. look up the " leaked E-mails" from the climate change office, it proves that they lied to the world on purpose to further the cause and fatten the wallets of the big wigs and government agencies around the world, now 30,000 scientists are suing Al Gore for his lies on global warming, the truth is out.
