I was just reading an old Wrestling Tidbits by Herb Kunze and he mentioned this as the best match of Owen's career. It was quite good, but I still find it hard to see Benoit, even under a mask.

WOW! i never knew that Owen had a match against Benoit this was a great match. but only if they would have been given 20 mins then this could have been as epic as Dynamite Kid vs Tiger Mask.

@AmericanWolves13 I don't judge them, and frankly, I understand. However, I don't expect to be judged because I CAN watch a Benoit match, and just because I can watch a Benoit man, and think he was a great wrestler, that doesn't mean I'm trying to forgive or condone what he did. It just means I can watch a wrestling match that he was in, and enjoy it, while also realizing that in the last three days of his life, he killed his wife, son, and then himself.

@trekfanful I don't doubt that for a second. I think he did it. But I'm not going to condemn anyone if I wasn't there and plus thats not my job. I'm also not gonna just stop watching matches that he was is because of what he did. What he did was 100% wrong. But that doesn't change the fact that he had some amazing wrestling matches that I enjoyed. And the fact he had amazing wrestling matches doesn't change the fact that he murdered his wife and son. If someone cant watch a Benoit match,

My philosophy is that, I was not there. I don't have all the facts, so I have no right to judge anybody. All I know is that he was a phenomenal wrestler. All I knew him as was a Wrestler, so that's all I can judge him as.

@KingOfPuroresu @ProTVx1 The guy had a breakdown. No-one knows what wigged out in his head, but I think the best info comes from Chris Nowinski's work afterwards and Benoit's brain was cabbaged. It was a tragedy.
