Here is a uranium doped marble I've had for over a decade. Also, there are several radioactive beads, the large one is depression glass (although it's not really from the depression, but it's made the same way) from the 1860's and I'm putting it on a bracelet. The smaller ones are jadite beads with indents on the sides to resemble little dice. I got the beads as gifts to promote business in the future from a local antique store. As you can see they all fluoresce nicely, and the most radioactive thing here is the large bead going on my bracelet.

  • I haven't seen them a lot, but every once in a while if you go into a bead shop that has antique beads with a black light, you can find a couple, I'd say I've seen about 150 of them in the last few years...

  • So cool I had here'd of radioactive clocks watches and glass were but not beads

  • why is everyone so keen to wanting e radiated material?...don't you know Radiation is bad for you.

  • lol Don't you know it's not as bad as it has be sensationalized to be... And I can't speak for others, but as a person who is going into particle physics and/or nuclear engineering, it's kind of important...

  • how can u know if it is radioactive?with uv light?or u have radiation detector?

  • I have an actual radiation detector, but it wasn't working at the time this video was made.
