  • U know what's funny is that this leopard gecko is 26 years old and it never lost it's tail and some people's gecko lose there tails the first week they have them good job :D

  • That's a good job, although it should not be that much of a surprise to people, and it is sad that it is. What that tells me is that most people don't have that kind of success because they aren't doing it right. They aren't researching properly, and they aren't maintaining their dedication to their animal. In fact, reptiles, including Leopard Geckos, are naturally built for very long life because of their low metabolism. I know several keepers w/ Leos 15+ years old.

  • @gorefestggg Actually, no it's not. "Average" life span would mean with the "average" keeper...and the average keeper is either a juvenile or a neglectful idiot who looses interest after a few years. Average life spans for these are far less than even 15 years.
