During the summer we operate all of our bees in Kansas. In Kansas is where we personally make most of our honey. During the winter months we ship every alive hive out to California for almond pollination. The pollination is more profitable than the honey sales right now.

I like the rock in the background... \m/\m/... I've been moving my own bees to a staging yard today and yesterday... In a week they'll be heading to the Sacramento area... I'm quite sore as I don't have my own forklift and flatbed... :o I hope they do well this year... I'd like to have a great winter and do a lot of splits next Spring... :)

It's very dark! It would be safer with more light. I also noticed you're headlights are yellow / white.

I suggest a red light filter. You won't get bees investigating the lights. They can't see red. There's also red led spotlights and red compact floresants out there.
