@axisbold1967 We all know about practices of slavery in Africa but that doesn't excuse or minimizes the whites races part in it. My issue as a black person in America is with those that I have interactions with. No African has practiced slavery and racism on any black people here in America! The issue of Africans enslaving Africans is an issue for people in Africa not people here in America. Try again!

Slavery was horrible to any degree or to any nationality. It is a fact and sorry if you can't accept it that the African slave trade dates back to as early as 750 A.D.. Slavery wasn't outlawed in some African countries until the early and middle 1900's . Your ancestors and forefathers carry as much responsibility as Europeans do for waging war on one another to capture and sell slaves for personal and monotary gain.

Everything else you wrote was rationalization, minimization, denial, and miseducation. You need to be educated from the standpoint of the victims instead of the criminals. @axisbold1967 Basically you are severely lacking knowledge about the lasting affects of slavery, racism, segregation, etc.. When you try to single out a few blacks like Oprah in order to argue against reparations it shows sheer ignorance about the topic. There have always been blacks that lived better than others, even during SLAVERY! The issue is that the VAST majority of blacks are disenfranchised in so many ways in Amer. because of the destructive LASTING affects of slavery & racism!

@axisbold1967 You're tryN so very hard but failing! Reparations ARE owed! Look up the book "The Debt" by Randall Robinson & READ IT! There isnt enough space for me to completely refudiate , destroy, & erase your comments about reparations so READ the book or look it up here on YouTube. Ask yourself why is it that it's Mostly only White Males that take issue with Reparations & hate Obama? I wonder??? The Word Racism comes to mind.

@axisbold1967 Nice try but NO cigar! The Holocaust, while tragegic, no where nears the destructive affect that slavery had on blacks. Of course Jews could get over something that only last about 7yrs.! Slavery was an INSTITUTION that last 2-4 HUNDRED YRS. , with an additional 100yrs. of Jim Crow & other practices of Racism!

Blacks were never put into prison camps and starved, gassed, beaten, buried alive as the jews were just 70years ago. they got over it quit and stopped bitching and moved on. so blacks have had double the time and still bitch about something no person alive had a thing to do with.
