Awesome job!

Hm..the way I see it, either the FRC robot will *eat* the FTC robot, or the ftc robot will get cause in the belts we have and cause the FRC bot to blow up...hm...we must test that.
-
Lol, I wonder what would happen if your FRC robot rammed into this one.

I know you already competed, but perhaps next time, if any similar mechanism is needed, maybe increase the walls of the puck tray, or lower the slamming speed.
I read on the internet you guys got Finalist?
-
another option you have that we just tried out was to make the lip from one of the tubes that they have in the KOP, that will at least not drag along the ramp

Hi.
We are heading off to Atalnta since we got the Inspire Award as well. By the time we got to competition we HAD slowed down the puck slam. And stop the bucked just under the pucks. We'd like to add sides, but we used up our Lexan allowance, and don't want to add too much more weight. Too bad materials are so restrictive.

Nice Robot, probably one of the few with an effective intake mechanism.
Secondly, nice use of the toy car for defense, but I'm sure you know, at competition, defense will be a tad bit rougher.

very nice robot and autonomous
just a few ideas from a fellow FTC member... try putting wheels on the end of your basket... this way you can go up the ram easier... it seems as if you are dragging the basket along, which is what is pulling you off course... otherwise awesome robot and hope to see you in Atlanta!!!!!!

Yeah. we tried that without too much luck, the selection of LEGO wheels in the KOP is limited. Once we figured out the right bucket angle, it worked better.
Too bad we couldn't put a teflon lip on the bucket :)
