In Regards to comment left by (xup2scratchx ) although the mat can't be seen an unhooking mat was used,and as far as recovery time the Barbel was held up river into the flow for as long as was needed the barbel kicked and pulled free of Bryan's hands showing a clear sign the barbel was ready to be released, longer would have be given if need be.
