These kind of comments remind me of the comments made for years about Triumph products by MG people and vice versa. I remember one MG guy who wouldn't even physically touch a Triumph. I guess some people are so loyal to their brand to the point of sillyness. I own two MGB's, a 1968 and a 1977 that I've owned for many years. I could care less about putting down the other brands. Grow up.

Okay really? I know the MGB is a great roadster, but what's with all the insecure hate on the Miata/MX-5? I can understand being offended by someone who called the MGB crap, but what good are you doing insulting another great roadster?

@3shacks1house No offense I'm just going to insult the items you have spent thousands of dollars and hours working on! If you like a chick mobile like the Miata then by all means rave about its greatness on youtube videos dedicated to it. But dont come here with sassy comments of English engineering and design on the segment for MG's and their proud owners. Besides the Japanese auto market isn't exactly the cats ass of reliablity themselves. Too all those offended my condolenses.

The humble MGB was the light, strong, solid performer of it's day. That's why it was able to beat the much more powerful cars it raced against in the early sixties. Miata is just new. Don't be so hard on it. It's just a kid. It has shown and will continue to show it's strengths and accomplishments as the years pass. It is the child of the MGB and the Lotus. It's supposed to go farther.

NO OFFENSE BUT THESE CARS ARE THE CRAP OF THE 20TH CENTURY RULED OVER BY THE PRINCE OF DARKNESS. Shake rattle and roll. Get a Miata. Much more reliable and better looking. To all who had these cars my condolenses.
