How to get iPhone 2.0 and higher out of Restore Mode.

This tutorial is to show you how to get your iphone 2.0 or higher out of restore mode.

Please follow the instruction below in the same order as I numbered them.


Step 1. Open control panel and double click on Add or Remove Programs. Then remove these programs below in this order.

Step 2. Remove "Quick Time". (Dont restart your computer yet after removing quick time)

Step 3. Remove "Apple Mobile Device".

Step 4. Remove "Apple Software Updater".

Step 5. And last but not least Remove "Itunes". (Now after you remove Itunes you must restart your computer).

Step 6. After your computer is back and running. Open internet explorer and go to (http://www.itunes.com).

Step 7. Now hit download to download itunes, but- and I cant stress this enough. Dont save it to your desktop before installing it. After you hit download, then hit "RUN" to install it from the website.

Step 8. After you have completely installed Itunes, open it and then Plug in your iPhone and turn it on.

Whaaalllllaaaaa
Itunes should now recognize your device. Now you can restore it to your desire Firmware by holding down shift and clicking on restore, then select your firmware.

So thats it. If you follow my directions you should now have your iPhone back to normal.
