By Chanticleer of San Francisco. From their album titled "Wondrous Love." Chanticleer owns the copyrights to all of this, I am merely posting so that we may all enjoy their amazing music

  • I love this song. I love the group. I bought the album, so I can listen to this whenever I want to, legally. I don't understand why people post audio tracks up on YouTube with video of an album cover. YouTube is for videos. Even worse, I don't understand how you can admit that this is a copyright protected work and then "post so that we may all enjoy their amazing music". That's clearly a violation of their copyright.

This is why congress is trying to pass garbage legislation like SOPA.

  • @n9kju Your mom is clearly a violation of their copyright :)

  • @micawber42 I understand there are people who buy music and videos because they saw or heard it online. I've done that myself. I bought the Chanticleer CD after I heard a few songs on my son's music player. I agree that the reason Congress considered SOPA is because the money holders behind the music/videos bought that consideration. And while I'm sure greed was the biggest factor that drove them, blatant copyright violation is their one valid argument for suggesting something be done.

  • @n9kju Strangely enough, I tend to buy music I am able to sample this way and enjoy: at least half my CD purchases the last few years would not have happened otherwise. The reason your US congress would have tried to pass SOPA is that they're being (in all but name) bribed by the record companies who just don't get that.

  • I thoroughly enjoyed this unusual arrangement to an old familiar hymn.
