Yeah they poop a lot. I always get a newspaper when ever I take them out and lay let them run around inside.
Also, another IMPORTANT NOTE. Do not let your chicks out without supervision especially in the outdoors. It is often good to let them play around outside BUT be warned of CATS! They can eat them!
All my baby chicks went missing because of the stray cats around my neighbourhood! T_T

@bunniboo1414 Ameraucanas are usually more of a blue. An 'Easter-egger' may lay a green egg.

here is another tip for first time chick buyers. DO NOT buy chicks from tractor supply, because many people come in and touch the chicks and can spread nasty diseases to them. buy them from a hatchery.
do u know what breed of egg laying chicken is the least loud or not very loud?

I don't know which breed is the quietest, but generally the bantam (smaller size) breeds are quieter than the full-size breeds.
