Why is it that most female artist iv'e seen, like to do morbid, and generally creepy works of art?

What happened to art in general? everything these days has to be post modern, unrealistic, incorrect proptions.

I was messing around with a PIC chip a couple years back, for an interactive lucid dreaming mask, so I know how intricate that type of work can be. All the best- good luck with future projects!
