This is not the carols of the monarch , rather to give my personal tribute on a man whose efforts to confront himself, accept himself and go beyond himself. He is King George VI.

1920, 24-year-old Prince Albert was created Duck of York. In November, he visited the works in Rowntrees, Yorkshire.
He was one of the most famous reluctant Kings in British history.
Nevertheless, with determination and endeavour, he led British people through the most difficult period of chaos of the 20th century.
The Duke of York inherited the sense of responsibility from his father George V and his mother Queen Mary and made his effort to the survival for the House of Windsor during the trends of Republicanism and Communism in the early 20th century.
Owing to paying close attention to economy, labor and the elimination of social class differences, 1920 - 1930, Albert had a nickname as "Industrial Prince" from public.
He was also the chairman of Industrial Welfair Society.
From 1921 to 1939, at the annual camp every summer(the Duke of York's camp), he was the soul of "the Duke's Day".

The King referred to his family as "us four": his wife Queen Elizabeth(the Queen Mother), and his daughters Princess Elizabeth (Queen Elizabeth II) and Princess Margaret(Countess of Snowdon).
In 1936, for his elder brother Edward VIII's abdication as Duke of Windsor, the Duke of York was hastily forced to go to the throne as King George VI and immediately had to face the danger and difficulty of World War II.
Through the supporting of his Prime Minister Winston Churchill, his wife Queen Elizabeth and other counsellors, the king, an introverted shy person, who had suffered stuttering disorder since childhood became the spiritual symbol of the resistance to Nazi and Fascist in England and even in whole Europe.

Aug.1945, VE-Day, the royal family at Buckingham Palace balcony waved to the crowd sending their greetings and cheers.
Apart from public service, the King was eager to return to rural life.
He was one of the best jockeys and shooters of contemporary.
As far as the King was concerned, his family was the strength and comfort of tower and let him drop the anxiety and uneasiness.
Facing the new situation of post-war world consisted of social and economic upheavals with hard work and heavy smoking damaged the King's health.
In 1952, the King died in his sleep at the age of 56 years old.
He left his daughter, Queen Elizabeth II, the most stable constitutional monarchy in Europe at the time and the leadership of British Commonwealth.
In February cold wind, more than 300,000 people filed past in tribute to the King in Westminster Hall.
On the King's coffin, Prime Minister Winston Churchill placed a note with the letters of his own hand, "For Valour".
The King was idolized by his daughters: a true war hero sacrificing everything for his country.
As her father established a model, Queen Elizabeth II requires herself at the same including her own children: dedicating loyalty to the state.
Princess Margaret placed on duty before personal emotion.
In 2010, the story based on King George VI's courage to struggle his stammer impediment and declaring war to totalitarianism by speech was adapted into radio and the hit film "the King's Speech".
