  • Kool Herc,Africa Bambaata & The Grandmaster Flash, represents the sun, moon & star of hip hop culture...I studied and learned everything

that I do on the set from Flash.

  • Here is a fact.. Hip hop Pioneers are both born on the islands of Jamaica an Barbados.. The rolling of blunts was taken from Jamaican rastas smoking of the fronto leaf (raw tabacco) and rappin (M.C.) came from Jamaican disk jockeys (D.J.) toasting a "riddim". So hip hop true roots came from Jamaica and the African American culture was added to it.

  • Hip Hop Forefathers.

  • what mixer is that at 0:19??? I want it.

  • Flash invented the art of scratching and Theodore invented the art of cutting. No disrespect but let's keep the history correct.

  • MPARE

  • @Skimmerranks smokin weed has nuffin to do wid hiphop

  • Wrong! flash refined mixing but Grand Wizard Theodore invented cutting or scratching. Now Flash is the best you could call him the Bill Gates of cutting and Theodore Steve Jobs.

  • THE BREAKS all i got to say

  • @funkberto Immigrants from Spain whitened up Puerto Rico so I guess that might be the issue.

  • @funkberto Back in the days the Puert Ricans that did Reggaeton were of darker complexions. They were off springs of a Jamaican Puerto Rican relationship.

  • @funkberto Thats because the it is not done by the Panamians and half Puerto Rican/Jamaican mixed. It is done by those who are immigrated from Spain to Puerto Rico.
