Wrong! flash refined mixing but Grand Wizard Theodore invented cutting or scratching. Now Flash is the best you could call him the Bill Gates of cutting and Theodore Steve Jobs.

Here is a fact.. Hip hop Pioneers are both born on the islands of Jamaica an Barbados.. The rolling of blunts was taken from Jamaican rastas smoking of the fronto leaf (raw tabacco) and rappin (M.C.) came from Jamaican disk jockeys (D.J.) toasting a "riddim". So hip hop true roots came from Jamaica and the African American culture was added to it.
