St. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals and the environment. October 4th commemorates the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi and is also World Animal Day.

I love this!! Thank you so much!! I read a lot about St. Francis Of Assisi when my cat was dying~~He and St. Gertrude(Patron Saint Of Cats) are my favorite Saints.
