A lunar eclipse tonight will coincide with the 2010 winter solstice — the longest night of the year — making this an especially dark yet historic night. A lunar eclipse hasn't overlapped with the winter solstice since Dec. 21, 1638, and won't happen again until December of 2094 — making this the only time we'll see this in our lifetime.

  • @HmongLovepho Yes it does!! :) I was able to take a a video of it from California, but its not as great as this one.

  • man I stayed up till 3 am to see this and it's was clear as crystal outside untill it was time for the event then the clouds rolled in thick :( so sad.
