A method for cooking Chanterelles shown to me by the guy that first took me out shrooming. This will keep your Chanterelles fresh for up to a year in the freezer.

  • Great video as usual. I have been wondering what the best way to store Chanterelles is. Now I know. Next year if you want to do a series of videos on cooking and keeping common mushroom we will all appreciate it, I'm sure.

  • @sabiuniverse Thank you. Be sure to tune in next year. I DO plan to do more videos on storing/cooking mushrooms ....

  • A ton, several...ok, ONE. that was funny.

  • @MiWilderness :-)

  • Thank-you so much! Perfect timing! :) Love your videos! :) I always wish the hunting/picking ones were a bit longer. :)

  • @RocamboleMan The picking ones CAN'T be longer. I'm usually picking with the same guy and he shows no mercy!! If I just videoed the trip I'd come home with an empty sack .... :-)
