Wystawa Nie / No Brucea Naumana w CSW stanowi przegląd prac powstałych w ciągu kilku ostatnich dziesięcioleci i odzwierciedla kolejne fazy jego rozwoju artystycznego. Obejmuje prace artysty z kolekcji Tate, Londyn, oraz Astrup Fearnley Museum, Oslo. Punktem centralnym ekspozycji jest słynna instalacja wideo Mapping the Studio II (Fat Chance John Cage) [Opisywanie przestrzeni pracowni II (Bez szans, Johnie Cage)] (2001), której pierwsza prezentacja w nowojorskiej DIA Foundation w 2002 była wydarzeniem artystycznym o wymiarze międzynarodowym.

The exhibition Nie / No is a survey of works created by Bruce Nauman in the past few decades, reflecting the successive stages of his artistic development. It includes the artist's works from the Tate collection in London and the Astrup Fearnley Museum in Oslo. The focal point of exposition is the acclaimed video installation Mapping the Studio II (Fat Chance John Cage), 2001.
Bruce Naumans work is marked by a tendency to reveal an incoherence, a fundamental inconsistency in the structure of representation. A painter by education, he points to the deadlock inscribed, according to his own experience, in the process of creating a painting as the source of his mature practice. Nauman is attracted to that which the picture hides, which it does not show, which refuses to follow the socially and culturally accepted conventions of representation. Treating these conventions as the material of his work, engaging in a game with the language of extant art, Nauman strives in his work to trace and highlight cracks and fractures in the seemingly uniform and cohesive surface of representation. Already at the beginning of his career that striving led him far beyond the boundaries of painting and traditionally construed sculpture, towards works of minimalist and conceptual character, towards forms such as installation or performance.
