Maybe the execution is a little dated but the concept of using sculpture as a branding tool is brilliant. Even though every BEST store was different, you knew, as a customer that it had to be a BEST store by looking at it. As said in the first part, it's architecture that makes you think, makes you laugh. Very tongue in cheek and I love it.

These buildings are cool...but the shapes are actually are kind of dull... Its radical for the times but I can see how it borders on gimmicky...
but I like the attitude, and intention and process. Thats the part that is inspiring.

How can so many of these have been demolished? Crazy. Some of my favourite architecture in the US - so well-thought-out.
