Did it have any trouble with the switch motors? I know I had to add some shims to my camcorder carrier when I ran it there to keep it from snagging them.

I also noticed that the locomotive "engine" sounds were turned off, and the video itself is slightly squished.

Yep it did have some troubles, so the ex-owner mainly used it as a show piece. He ended up selling it because of that problem with the switches & a lot of the bridges on the layout that it couldn't maneuver through.

Thanks.  It is weird. Funny how at our train club it's very big in effects & charm, but at the Springfield, Massachusetts's train show yesterday 1-26-2008, it was nothing more than a gimmick & a shelf item. There was just too much G-gauge scale stuff around it, stealing from it's spot light.
