This is my GE M400A1 Powr/Door 400watt mercury vapor streetlight. This light came from an electrical utility manager in a small city near my parents home. My dad introduced me to him while he was designing a railroad spur in their community. The electrical utility manager showed me their fine collection of vintage lighting equipment. Then he let me pick some items out to have for my own, he gave me other items too, and explained what they were. The manager and me visited for over have an hour talking about lighting equipment. We will hopefully be seeing each other often. Anyway, I rewired what I could and the rest is original. This is 400watt mercury vapor and is 120volt.

That's hella big. How much does a weigh? And why are there so many different models? Which one is the best?

@MrAngryGorilla2000 I think the last time I weighed it, it was around 40lbs. There are so many different kinds of street lights for many different applications. Like smaller street lights for side streets and bigger ones for highways. I think all street lights are good but I really like the older ones that are mercury vapor.
