Guys, scream-o and jumping around does not cut it. When was the last time you paid to see a scream-o band? If you did, was the place packed? How's their record doing?
Crickets.
Look for a classic rock sound then expand upon it.
Remember, success leaves clues, so does failure.
I'd rather listen to (c) rap than listen to scream-o, and I utterly HATE rap!
There's 1000 scream-o bands out there because all newb bands make the same mistake.
Find "your" sound, don't copy failure.
