@chabrastamepues Fair point, maybe i'm biased cos i prefer the older songs themselves :P i think i kinda get what u mean though, although i like to see him playing something rather than walking around trying to occupy himself without doing so

@asdfrewqnc I just go based on what I've seen. Not to say they were bad back then. When I saw them in 2006 in Sacramento, Tyson was on the bass and rocked it big time! I saw him again the next summer at the California State Fair, and the whole band was average at best. He slid a lot of the notes and rushed through most of the songs. It was rather disappointing. However in the youtube videos I've seen of more recent performances in the past two years w/out the guitar, his live singing is great!

I've seen AAR perform twice in concert and their live performances have come a long way. Type in the live performance for "Another Heart Calls" and you'll see that Tyson does a much better job live when he's not confined to the bass guitar. His quirky personality, and vocal talent are better on display when he has freedom to roam around the stage. You can't make a judgement on a band based on one song. At least they write all their own songs, and in this era in music, that's saying something.

@MaxtheMetalhead Opinion = Fact when you're talking about the garbage that rush produces. However, Opinion =/= fact when you're talking about the greatness that is madonna.

You're just butt hurt that everyone knows that rush is a terrible band. Without their drummer, no one would have even heard of them.
